BIOMATERIALS
Biomaterials are materials that have the ability to integrate into a living organism to fulfill certain functions. And they are added to our body through some type of implant. There are also biomaterials of artificial origin as would be the case of polymers, ceramics, metals that can be used to create damaged body parts using prostheses or even with new technologies they can print skin artificially and then put it on a person who has suffered burns in his body.
BIOMATERIALS FOR IN VIVO USE
With the new materials that are being investigated, new technologies are being created that will allow us to improve our life in the future because some people will use pills where there are small robots specifically controlled to perform a function, for example, eliminating bad bacteria or microorganisms from our body. This technology in the future will allow many advances in medicine and could treat diseases such as cancer.
